Tim Huff has been involved in commercial real estate
for over 20 years. For a number of years he was responsible
for the successful development of over $200 million
in commercial real estate in Arizona, California and
New Mexico. His responsibilities included land acquisition,
planning, design, construction, leasing, tenant improvement
build-out and property management. Projects included
500 Marquette, a 290,000 sq. ft. 18 story Class A high
rise in downtown Albuquerque and One Pacific Plaza,
a 200,000 sq. ft. 12 story Class A office building
in Huntington Beach, California.
Since co-founding the firm in 1987 Mr. Huff has been
involved in the management of commercial office buildings,
retail centers, industrial buildings, medical offices,
apartments, cattle ranches and general business operations.
He is also responsible for leasing and investment brokerage
activities and supervision of the commercial construction
division of the company.
Besides property management Mr. Huff serves as a Court
Appointed Receiver, having been appointed in 67 legal
actions. He also acts as an Expert Witness in Superior
Court and Federal Court in matters relating to commercial
real estate.
Mr. Huff is also actively involved in the Building
Owner and Mangers Association (BOMA). He has served
on the Board of Directors from 1990-1996 and again
in 2001-2004. He has been Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President
and was the 1995 President. For his service to the
real estate industry he has been awarded the top honor
given by this association, “Member of the Year,” for
the year 1992 and again in 2003. For his teaching of
BOMA college level adult education classes for the
RPA designation and for teaching many industry related
seminars he was given the prestigious “Service
to the Profession” award in 1993 and again in
2002. Tim is also a licensed real estate agent in the
State of Arizona.
At the Brookstone Tim’s responsibilities include
day to day management of the Brookstone property management
and maintenance staff, implementation of building upgrades
and refurbishing, weekly meetings with ownership, energy
management planning, marketing, tenant relations, financial
reporting and staff training.
